Day 1 -New Delhi-Jaipur
The magical journey of India starts at the Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station, where all guests are given a warm hearty welcome in a traditional style. We board the train to head to Jaipur.
Day 2 - Jaipur
Agra, Delhi and Jaipur form the Golden Triangle of Indian Tourism. A tour through the city of Jaipur (also known as Pink city), completes the tourism experience of India. The day will be spent leisurely.
Day 3 - Jaisalmer
Arrival at Jaisalmer on the Palace on Wheels. The city of Jaisalmer, the Golden City of India, is famous for its hot deserts and mystical folklore. This architecturally beautiful city is famous for being one of the greatest Royal bastions of the world.
We spend the day admiring the mystical beauty of the city and continue the journey to the next leg of the tour after a safari dinner at a campsite under the starry sky.
Day 4 - Jodhpur
We arrive at Jodhpur in the morning. Jodhpur, the Sun City of India is located at the edge of the Thar Desert and is popular for the majestic palaces and forts. Some of the famous palaces in this city are Umaid Bhavan Palace and Jaswant Thada.
Day 5 -Sawai Madhopur-Chittaurgarh
We arrive at Sawai Madhopur, which will be followed by breakfast at Jhoomar Baori Castle and a date with the majestic tigers at the Ranathambore National Park. We leave for Chittaurgarh in the afternoon followed by a tour through the city that is considered a saga of sacrifice, tenacity and valour. The day is ended with a visit to the Fort of Chittaurgarh which is a treasure chest filled with historic tales.
Day 6 - Udaipur
Today arrive at City of Palaces - Udaipur. The city formerly served as the capital of the Sisodia Maharanas. Udaipur is also known as the “Venice of the East”. Some of the famous lakes in the city are Udai Sagar, Loke Pichola and Swaroop Sagar.
Day 7 -Bharathpur-Agra
Our next destination aboard the Palace on Wheels is Bharatpur. After breakfast at Saras Hotel, we visit to the bird sanctuary which is a must visit in the city. From Bharatpur our journey continues to Agra. The city is a famous for the Taj Mahal, an epitome of love, and a monument of purity, the perfect end to our wonderful journey across historical India.
Day 8 -New Delhi
After bidding adieu to the city of Taj, we arrive at the Delhi Safdurjung Railway station. Departure from Delhi after breakfast.
